With the advent of FLACS and sutureless microsurgeries, Manual Extracapsular Cataract Extraction with Corneo-scleral section is thought to be obsolete. It is neither in practice anymore nor being taught in most residency programs. Here we demonstrate peculiar cases where this technique is the only solution. We want to demonstrate that this technique still has a place in modern ophthalmic practice.
