This video-based course will discuss the evolution of SMILE technology and an evidence-based discussion on its biomechanics. It will provide insight into ironing out learning curve difficulties and mastering challenging scenarios. Innovative uses of SMILE and hyperopia correction will be highlighted. A critical appraisal of the current clinical evidence on SMILE vs LASIK will be followed by a discussion on marketing strategies for SMILE.
