Course will describe the signs of keratoconus: ectasia, asymmetry and thinning, and how they are represented by topographic indices like the keratoconus prediction index (KPI), keratoconus probability (KProb), Inferior-Superior (I-S), cone location and magnitude index (CLMI), Kmax, and by tomographic indices like the squared eccentricity (e2), best fit sphere (BFS) and best fit toric aspheric (BFTA) elevation, total corneal wavefront, the aspheric-asymmetric index (AAI), the CLMI.X, the thickness progression index (TPI), the Belin-Ambrosio display (BAD), and the percentage tissue altered (PTA).
