We present a technique for marking the donor during the preparation of the DMEK to guide the correct side once in the eye. With a gentian pen, mark the donor button with a point and a line to delineate the edge. During marking, the descemet will be oriented towards the surgeon (clockwise point and line) and when in the eye it will be opposite (clockwise line and point).
