Irregular corneas can induce glare and haloes which worsen with cataract, making cataract surgery planning difficult. We provide an algorithmic approach for treating corneal imperfections using tomography, ray tracing aberrometry before cataract surgery. Customization improves visual acuity and regularizes corneal topography, delivering optimal quality of vision in post refractive surgery patients.
