Course will provide a better understanding of pharmaceuticals for perioperative management using dilute antiseptics and intraocular agents in place of patient administered drops. Topics to be covered include compounding, antisepsis, intracameral dilation/IFIS prophylaxis, NSAIDs versus steroids, intracameral antibiotics; (pros/cons), patient independent protocols; intravitreal versus intracameral versus topical versus subconjunctival. An international team of experts will participate in a panel discussion following each short didactic presentation.
