We present a modified technique called I fixation technique for the sutureless intrascleral fixation of a standard 3-piece PC IOL using self-sealing sclerotomies created with a 24 gauge microvitreoretinal blade, and then reinserting the haptics to leave the tips inside the vitreous cavity. We have been performing this procedure with good surgical outcomes.
