Description
Phacoemulsification in Morgagnian Cataracts is difficult due to intra-operative complications like zonular dialysis or posterior capsular tear (PCT). We describe a technique, in which after capsulorrrhexis, bag is inflated with viscoelastic and a 3-piece intraocular lens is implanted in the bag behind the nucleus, before starting phacoemulsification. Then nucleotomy is done. Our technique provides intraoperative bag stability and removes all chances of PCT.
